Research Activities of the Faculty
The research activities of the department’s faculty are carried out in the following areas: first and foremost, active annual participation in international scientific and practical conferences in Kazakhstan and abroad. For instance, faculty members participate in international scientific and practical conferences in countries such as the Czech Republic, Russia, Turkey, Japan, the USA, Canada, Prague, and Kyrgyzstan. Thus, it can be stated that faculty, master’s students, and undergraduate students have begun presenting their research in CIS countries and beyond.

In the academic school, significant attention is given to the research activities of master’s and undergraduate students. The “Young Entrepreneur Club” operates successfully, established for the self-realization of gifted youth and the professional self-determination of future financiers and accountants, aiming to achieve a deeper analysis of ongoing economic transformations in the country and the world.

Research Activities of the Faculty at the “Business and Management” School
Faculty members regularly publish research articles in scientific journals recommended by the Committee for Control in Education and Science of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as in international journals indexed in Scopus and the Russian Science Citation Index (RSCI).

Faculty members are engaged in the development and implementation of research projects funded by state and private grants, as well as on an initiative basis.

The department’s faculty conducts independent research topics. For 2022–2024, two topics were registered with the National Center for Scientific and Technical Expertise (NCSET):

1. **Prof. A.Zh. Saparbayev, Doctor of Economics**, on the topic: *0122RK10006 “Business Management in Kazakhstan: Formation and Development”* (01.05.2022–31.12.2024).
2. **Prof. A.D. Chelekbay, Doctor of Economics**, on the topic: *0122RK10007 “Management of Financing for Innovative Activities in Kazakhstan”* (01.05.2022–31.12.2024).

Research Activities of Students at the “Business and Management” School
Research is a crucial component of students’ academic development, aimed at fostering a scientific approach to their studies, developing critical thinking, and enhancing practical skills in management, economics, and public administration.

The research activities of the department’s students include the following:

• Under the guidance of experienced faculty, students develop research projects analyzing current economic issues and trends.
• Students present their research findings at various academic venues, from university-level to regional and international conferences.
• Active student participation in publishing their work in student and professional journals is encouraged.
• The department hosts student research communities where current issues are discussed, and seminars and workshops are held.
• Students participate in research competitions at various levels, from university-wide to international contests.
