The School of “Business and Management” held an essay competition on the topic: *”My Major – My Future Profession.”* First-year students from both the Russian and Kazakh departments majoring in *Finance*, *Management*, and *Accounting and Auditing* participated in the competition.
According to the results of the competition:
**1st place** was awarded to Bigazy Tamerlan, a first-year student from the Russian department majoring in *Management*, and Galymbekuly Murager, a first-year student from the Kazakh department majoring in *Finance*;
**2nd place** went to Kuznetsova Albina, a first-year student from the Russian department majoring in *Management*, and Kalmukhambetov Damir, a first-year student from the Kazakh department majoring in *Management*;
**3rd place** was awarded to Bekkaliyeva Inkara, a first-year student from the Russian department majoring in *Accounting and Auditing*.
Based on the competition, the most relevant essays by four students were selected and published as promotional articles on the websites **bilimger.kz** and **ziatker.kz**.
