The faculty of the Academic School of Law successfully applies practice-oriented teaching technologies that help develop in students the personal qualities and professional competencies essential for their future careers.

As part of a lecture on November 1, 2024, a meeting was held with Judge Talgat Maksatovich Davletniyazov of the Alatau District Court of Almaty for students of the 6B042 “Law” program.

The discussion focused on judicial practice in cases involving crimes against life and health, as well as issues related to the organization of court activities and the specifics of judges’ consideration of criminal cases.

During the discussion, students asked a number of questions regarding the limits of permissible self-defense to protect life and health, criminogenic factors contributing to the commission of crimes, the personal and social characteristics of defendants, and the requirements for candidates aspiring to become judges.

At the conclusion of the lecture, Judge T.M. Davletniyazov invited students to participate in internships and encouraged graduating students to pursue careers within the judicial system.
