Students' educational visit to the Canine Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan

As part of the development of educational programs in the field of training 6B042 "Law", an introductory visit to the Canine Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan (hereinafter referred to as the Canine Center) was organized for students.

As part of their mastery of the educational programs in the 6B042 "Law" program, students were given an introductory visit to the Canine Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan (hereinafter referred to as the Canine Center).

On November 19, 2025, Candidate of Law, Associate Professors E.A. Umurzakov, N.S. Ibrayev, and Senior Lecturers I.S. Amreeva and R.K. Tanibergenova organized a visit for first-year students to the Canine Center. During the visit, Canine Center staff conducted a number of activities: students received a general overview of the structure and operations of the Canine Center; a lecture was given on the goals and objectives of developing canine services to combat criminal activity; practical training sessions were demonstrated for dogs in the following service areas: search and rescue, patrol and guard dog duties for the detection of drugs, explosives, and weapons; and service dog training was also demonstrated. The students participated in a discussion on the use of dogs of various breeds to apprehend criminals, search for missing persons, and detect narcotics and explosives.

The study tour provided the students with a practical understanding of the work of canine services within the law enforcement system.

During the discussion, the Canine Center staff shared information with the students on the future development of canine organizations and the effective use of service dogs in crime prevention.

The educational visit left the students with a wealth of positive emotions and impressions.
