Professor K.A.Amirova, PhD in Political Science, from the Kazakh National Pedagogical University named after Abay, joined the faculty of Q UNIVERSITY.
On February 28, 2025, Professor Amirova conducted a seminar on "Modern Technologies: New Opportunities for the Digitalization of Education."
Professor Amirova emphasized that the use of modern technologies is essential for the country’s competitiveness and for expanding its opportunities for integration into the European and global educational space. Today, global competition in higher education, the development of e-learning, hybrid educational technologies, and the wide use of massive open online courses (MOOCs) make education more accessible and flexible.
The seminar highlighted that students work independently in a digital learning environment while interacting actively with instructors. They have round-the-clock access to electronic courses provided by university instructors, allowing them to study and review materials anytime and anywhere with internet access. Learning outcomes are assessed more objectively, psychological stress during knowledge control is reduced, and students in the dual form of study have the same educational opportunities as full-time students.
