On February 4, 2025, Q University hosted an insightful workshop titled “Transformation of University Education”, inspired by the outcomes of the Hackathon-2025 “Universities of Kazakhstan – Drivers of National Development” held in Astana
The event was organized and conducted by the following staff members of “Q University”: Adlet D. Kariev, Director of the Department of Science and Cooperation; Gulzhan K. Astemes, Director of the Department of Academic Services; and Aigul S. Alchimbayeva, Head of the Academic School “IT and Services.”
The workshop served as a platform for discussing pressing issues related to the transformation of higher education, sharing best practices, and finding solutions to enhance the competitiveness of Kazakhstani universities. Participants discussed key initiatives presented at the Hackathon and outlined strategies for implementing them within our university.
Special attention was given to the role of universities as drivers of national development, their contribution to achieving strategic goals, and the preparation of specialists ready to meet the challenges of the modern world.
