Meeting with Stijn Rombouts from Belgium on the Promotion of the Kazakh Language
On October 30, 2025, as part of the program for patriotic education and promotion of the state language, an inspiring meeting was held with Stijn Rombouts (who introduced himself as Syrym), a student at the Ablai Khan Kazakh University of International Relations and World Languages, attended by students of the educational program 6B042 “Law.”

The key event of the meeting was Stijn’s presentation on the topic “The Role of the Kazakh Language in Domestic and International Relations.”
It was particularly remarkable that the foreign guest delivered his presentation and answered numerous questions from the audience entirely in the Kazakh language. This served as a vivid demonstration of the growing prestige and international status of the Kazakh language.
Such events not only deepen students’ linguistic knowledge but also make a significant contribution to strengthening civic identity and pride in the native language, which is an essential component of patriotic education among youth.
