Meeting with Law Enforcement Officers
On November 5, 2024, the Academic School of Law, in collaboration with officers of the Almalinsky District Police Department — Police Major Alina Abayevna Bakanova, Senior Lieutenant Beisen Qumar Nurgeldyuly, and Police Captain Maksat Seyduallievich Bibulatov — organized a meeting with students enrolled in the Law program
During the meeting, participants discussed norms of criminal and administrative law, types of criminal and administrative offenses, punishments applied to minors, the specifics and procedures for holding minors accountable, the roles and functions of the police, the profession of a police officer, maintenance of public order, and procedures for entry into public service.
Additionally, the discussion covered youth offenses, legal responsibility for unlawful actions by minors, fostering proper civic positions, and improving students’ legal literacy.
The session was conducted at a high professional level, addressing challenging legal issues related to lawfulness, public order, and the role of law in society.
This meeting highlighted the relevance of the topics discussed, increased students’ interest in their future profession, and demonstrated the value of engagement with professional and profile organizations.
