Meeting with Employers
“On November 5, 2025, a meeting was held at the University with representatives from the public institution ‘Department of Economic Investigations of the Almaty Region under the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Financial Monitoring’ (hereinafter referred to as ‘DEI’) for students enrolled in the 6B042 ‘Law’ and 6B031 ‘Business and Management’ programs.”
Topic of the meeting: “Employment of Graduates.”
Purpose of the meeting: To familiarize the employer with the level of graduates and discuss potential employment opportunities at DEI.
Representatives of the employer, DEI Director Almaz Aidarovich Gabdullin and HR Inspector Aynur Bolatovna Idrisova, presented proposals for the employment of graduates at the Department of Economic Investigations of the Almaty Region. They outlined several requirements for candidates applying for public service positions, including: a GPA of 2.6 or higher, completion of a medical examination, passing the civil service test, and other criteria.
During the meeting, students asked a number of pressing and relevant questions. They were interested not only in professional aspects, such as career growth opportunities within DEI, but also in matters related to salary, social benefits, housing, and more.
The meeting was held in a constructive and open dialogue, and both the students and the employer representatives expressed satisfaction with the event.
