Law Subject Olympiad – 2025
On April 28, 2025, the Academic School of Law successfully held the Law Subject Olympiad for 11th-grade students from Almaty and the Almaty region.
On April 28, 2025, the Academic School of Law successfully held the Law Subject Olympiad for 11th-grade students from Almaty and the Almaty region.
The purpose of the event was to foster students’ interest in legal sciences, enhance legal literacy, and provide career guidance for high school students.
The Olympiad was organized with the support of the Department of Science and Promotion and the University Admissions Committee.
Total number of registered participants: 28 school students.
Olympiad Stages:
- First Round – Essay writing (online format)
- Second Round – Law fundamentals test (held at the university)
- Final Stage – Solving legal case studies (held at the university)
Twelve students who successfully passed the first selection round advanced to the second and final stages.
The essay topics, test questions, and practical case assignments were developed by the faculty members of the Academic School of Law and corresponded to the school curriculum while incorporating elements of university-level content.
During the final stage, the Olympiad winners were determined. The winners received certificates granting certain admission benefits when applying to the university.
After the Olympiad, the participants were given a guided tour of the university, where they learned about the institution’s traditions, educational process, facilities, and vibrant student life.
The participants noted the high level of organization, engaging tasks, and warm, welcoming atmosphere of the university venue.
