Introductory Visit of 3rd-Year Law Students to the Institute of Forensic Examinations in Almaty

As part of the educational programs in the training field 6B042 “Law”, an introductory visit to the Institute of Forensic Examinations in Almaty (RSE) was organized for third-year students.

On March 11, 2026, Zh.S. Shalabayeva, Master of Law and Senior Lecturer of the Academic School of Law, conducted an introductory tour for the students. During the visit, the students received a general overview of the structure and activities of the institution, became familiar with the main areas of forensic expert practice, and learned about the tasks that specialists solve in the process of conducting forensic examinations.

The participants of the tour were shown the operation of specialized equipment and research materials. An employee of the Institute provided a detailed explanation of the methodologies used in conducting certain types of forensic examinations and the specific features of experts’ work.

The event allowed the students to clearly observe the practical aspects of a forensic expert’s professional activity.

Such a format of learning contributes to strengthening the theoretical knowledge obtained in the classroom and helps future lawyers better understand the procedural and methodological foundations for appointing and conducting forensic examinations, which is an important component of their professional competence.
