Internships for Graduates
Today at "Q" University, a meeting took place that opened new horizons for students of the 3rd and 4th years of the “Jurisprudence” program. Leadership from the Almaty City Police Department visited to discuss career prospects, employment opportunities, and internship possibilities for graduates with future lawyers.
"Q" University" strives to provide students not only with theoretical knowledge but also with practical experience. Academic practice begins in the 2nd year, while industrial practice in the 3rd and 4th years allows students to apply their knowledge in real work environments. The meeting with representatives of the Police Department was another step toward preparing qualified specialists capable of making a significant contribution to the development of Kazakhstan’s law enforcement system.
During the meeting, various aspects of the graduates’ future professional activities were discussed. Police Department representatives provided detailed information about internships for graduates, which serve as an excellent opportunity for young professionals to start their careers. Issues related to social security and housing benefits were also addressed, which are particularly relevant for young employees just beginning their professional journey.
Students actively participated in the discussion, asking questions about the required physical standards for candidates, educational requirements, and how moral, cultural, and religious considerations are integrated into law enforcement work. The questions demonstrated students’ high level of interest in their future profession and their desire to obtain comprehensive information for successful employment.
At the conclusion of the event, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs S.Sh. Kulanova, Vice-Rector for Research S.K. Esetova, and Director of the Academic School of Law D.Z. Kopbaev expressed their gratitude to the Police Department representatives for the information provided and presented them with commemorative gifts. This act symbolized the strengthening of ties between the academic community and law enforcement agencies and confirmed their readiness for further cooperation in preparing highly qualified legal professionals for Kazakhstan.
