INFORMATION LETTER

Dear heads of educational organizations, teachers and students!

The Academic School "Law" " Q " University invites 11th-grade students of secondary schools, gymnasiums, and lyceums in Almaty and the Almaty region to take part in a subject-specific Olympiad in law , which is held with the aim of identifying and supporting talented schoolchildren, increasing interest in legal sciences, and developing legal culture.

Date and place: The Olympiad will be held at " Q " University , located at: Almaty , 125/185 Baizakov Street (corner of Aiteke bi), room 806.

The format is offline/online.

Conditions of participation:

·       Participation is free.

·       Students in 11th grade of comprehensive schools are invited to participate.

·       Languages: Kazakh, Russian.

·       of participants is carried out until 31.03.2026 by submitting an application to the e - mail address: djein 1968@ mail . ru

Olympiad program:

The Olympiad consists of two rounds:

1.             Creative Round – Essay Defense. Participants select one of the topics listed below and must present their work. Essays must be no more than three pages long. Essay writing (submit essays by April 5 , 2026 )

2.             Practical round – solving test questions ( 04.05.2026 at the university) .

                  Sample essay topics :

§     Responsibility for violation of public order.

§     Corruption: legal and social aspects.

§     Protection of human rights in the modern world.

·       How to combat bullying among teenagers (reasons, psychological analysis).

·       Gambling addiction among young people: how to protect the new generation?

Summing up and award ceremony .

Olympiad assignments are assessed using a point -rating system: essays - 70 points, test questions - 30 points.

The winner of the Olympiad is the participant who scores the most points and is awarded diplomas for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.

If admitted to Q University , winners will receive the following discounts for their first year of study:

For 1st place - 100%

For 2nd place – 50%

For 3rd place - 30%

In case of a tie between two or more participants, the participant who completes the task in the shortest amount of time is declared the winner.
