Q University is seeking dynamically motivated, internationally recognized, and highly qualified faculty members for an exciting new project – the launch of an English-language, American-style university in Almaty, Kazakhstan. Candidates must have doctoral level (including PhD, DBA, Doktor Nauk, and Kandidat Nauk) degrees, with certain positions open for holders of Master’s degrees, including MBAs.
Positions are available for programs in Business and Computer Science, to teach courses including but not limited to Data Analytics, Management, Marketing, Accounting, Software Engineering, and Cybersecurity. Candidates with degrees in other disciplines but relevant teaching, research, and professional experience are also encouraged to apply.
Courses will be taught in person in Almaty, so faculty must be physically present while teaching. Q University will support visas for foreign faculty members.

Candidates will be hired at the full professor, associate professor, assistant professor, senior lecturer, or lecturer levels based on experience and credentials.
The university aims to launch initial Master’s programs in January 2026, with additional positions opening with expansion of Master’s programs and introduction of Bachelor’s programs in September 2026.
