Employees of “Q” University took part in the Hackathon-2025 “Universities of Kazakhstan – Drivers of the Country’s Development”
From January 29 to 31, 2025, Hackathon-2025 “Universities of Kazakhstan – Drivers of the Country’s Development” was held in Astana, bringing together top managers of Kazakhstani universities and representatives of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education.
“Q” University took an active part in this large-scale event aimed at developing strategies for the advancement of higher education in Kazakhstan.
Hackathon-2025 became a unique platform for generating ideas, sharing experiences, and testing new strategic solutions in the format of the simulation game “FuturEdu Strategy Simulation,” developed by the Moscow School of Management “Skolkovo.” During the event, participants formulated new directions for university development in accordance with national priorities, explored the relationship between government objectives, innovation policy, and operational processes, and strengthened their skills in strategic decision-making based on analytical data and performance metrics.
Representatives of “Q” University actively participated in addressing key hackathon tasks such as managing scientific research, developing innovation, promoting international cooperation, and enhancing the human resources potential of universities. Participation in the hackathon allowed the university team to gain a deeper understanding of how to integrate the university’s strategies with state policy, as well as to identify new ways to improve financial stability and institutional competitiveness.
On January 31, the defense of the developed three-year strategies took place. “Q” University presented its concept of sustainable development aimed at strengthening the university’s position in the educational, scientific, and international spheres.
