Educational Visit of Students to the Institute of Forensic Examinations

On October 22, 2025, Candidate of Legal Sciences, Associate Professor N.S. Ibraev conducted an introductory tour for second-year students. During the visit, students gained a general understanding of the structure and activities of the institute, learned about the main areas of forensic practice, and familiarized themselves with the key tasks performed by forensic experts. On October 23, 2025, under the guidance of Candidate of Legal Sciences, Associate Professor T.Sh. Medeubekov, an off-site practical session was held for fourth-year students as part of the discipline “Forensic Expertology.” This visit had a more in-depth focus: students were able not only to observe specialized equipment and materials but also to analyze in detail the methodologies used in conducting specific types of forensic examinations. These off-site sessions provided students with a vivid, hands-on understanding of the practical aspects of forensic expert work. Such a format of learning helps to strengthen the theoretical knowledge acquired in the classroom and enables future lawyers to better understand the procedural and methodological foundations of appointing and conducting forensic examinations—an essential component of their professional competence.
