A meeting with students was organized by the Academic School of Law under the guidance of Z.M. Samaldykova

To enhance financial literacy and promote rational financial behavior among young people when making personal finance decisions and protecting their rights and interests, the Academic School of Law (coordinated by Z.M. Samaldykova) organized a meeting for students from all university programs with Raikhan Orazbekovna Yakubova — Managing Partner of LLP "School of Financial Literacy #1" and a certified business trainer in corporate and personal finance.

During the meeting, key topics were discussed, including “Personal Financial Management,” “Effective Use of Financial Services,” and “Awareness of the Financial System.” The issue of “Financial Fraud” remains a pressing concern in Kazakhstan, as increasingly sophisticated and complex methods of deceiving citizens continue to emerge. Research conducted by the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Regulation and Development of the Financial Market has shown that young people are the most frequent victims of financial fraud, with the most common tool used by scammers being phone and internet fraud — “vishing.”

The university’s ongoing awareness initiatives on financial literacy aim to strengthen students’ financial skills and improve their ability to correctly interpret financial information.
